IF ONLY
Jerusalem Post today carries the words of Israeli Vice Premier Shimon Peres, responding to the always truculent Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad:
“'Iran can also be wiped off the map'”

Nothing new in the article… And while the particulars of the argument are “new,” it’s still the same 2500 year old feud…
But if only… If only the rest of us could just get the hell out of the way and let them go at it… Any bets on a winner?

Islamo-fascism wins either way...if Israel kicks ass you'll get the typical outrage of Christians and Jews humiliating Muslims...if Iran kicks ass, or even holds their own, they will be heroes to the Muslim world for standing up to the "Zionists"...I don't see a scenario where the US benfits either way..which at some level serves us right for continuing to hook up our wagon to the horses of oil
